Professional Experience

Amber brings over 20 years of experience in public accounting to her role as Financial Controller at DWC CPAs and Advisors and DWC Wealth Advisors. Since joining DWC in 2011, she has steadily advanced within the organization—first as Senior Financial Accountant, then as Assistant Controller and Supervisor in 2018, and ultimately to her current leadership role. As Controller, Amber leads a team of finance professionals dedicated to ensuring the firm’s day-to-day operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong emphasis on accuracy and integrity.

When not working she enjoys watching her son play competitive and high-school baseball for the Fruita Wildcats and watching baking competition shows on Food Network (her guilty pleasure, despite not being a cook). Her bucket list includes a tour in Europe over the holidays to visit the Christmas markets. Something most people may not know about Amber is that she is afraid of birds due to her sister locking her in their barn as a child with a mean goose!
